A traveling family, not an anonymous AI company.

Hi, Daniel here, founder of typeatrip.com and losgeplant.de.

We travel a lot as a family. The kids have grown, the number of hotel rooms has grown, and so have everyone's expectations. And with them our fatigue with the endless searching for hotels, day trips, fun activities and affordable restaurants.

That is exactly why this site exists. Vacation evenings used to disappear into research: the next day, the next outing, the next restaurant. Today the AI takes care of that, and we spend our evenings playing cards and Scrabble instead.

Our first AI-planned trip was organized with a free AI, and we were not impressed: too many closed restaurants, surprise closing days on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and completely different prices once we got there. On top of that, the providers have restricted their free tiers so heavily that the information is often outdated. When you are traveling, that is just annoying.

After testing quite a few subscriptions and models, one thing was clear: the model matters. Cheap does not cut it here, it takes a really good one to convince you with this quality. And with your feedback I keep improving the research behind the scenes. Thanks to our many testers!

After the fifth trip planned this way, the idea for this site was born. Join in and make your search easier, it saves us several hours every single time. And if you are only after fresh ideas and want to handle the rest of the planning yourself: the site is made for that too.

New York, Chicago, or the town where your in-laws live: some places you visit again and again. But by the tenth visit it gets hard to find something new. The site helps enormously there as well. Just list where you have already been and ask for completely different ideas. Go ahead and try. No subscription, affordable, saves time. A bit like a robot vacuum: once you have used it, you do not want to go back.

And because we are honest: if you are planning four or six weeks in one go, a monthly subscription with an AI provider is cheaper for you. The really good models are expensive. For individual trips, though, you will not find this price-to-quality ratio anywhere else.
