Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Who we are

typeatrip.com ("typeatrip", "we", "us") is operated by Daniel Rose, sole proprietor, c/o IP-Management #9520, Ludwig-Erhard-Str. 18, 20459 Hamburg, Germany. Contact: contact@typeatrip.com. These Terms govern every purchase on typeatrip.com.

2. What you are buying

You buy a one-time digital product: a personal travel plan, created with AI and live online research, delivered as a Word and PDF document with map links and cited sources.

We are not a travel agency and we do not book anything for you. Your plan is a researched recommendation, not a booking. All bookings (hotels, transport, tickets, activities) are made by you, directly with the providers. We receive no commissions.

3. Ordering, prices and payment

Plans are offered in tiers based on trip length (for example up to 2 nights, up to 7 nights, up to 14 nights, up to 24 nights). The current prices shown on typeatrip.com at the time of purchase apply. Prices are in US dollars. Depending on your location, your bank or card issuer may add foreign transaction fees; these are outside our control.

Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card details. Work on your plan starts only after your payment is confirmed.

4. Questions round and delivery

After payment we may ask you a few short questions to sharpen your plan (dates, budget, pace, preferences). Your plan is then researched and delivered to your account and by email, normally within about 30 to 60 minutes. If anything delays your plan significantly, we will notify you, and if we cannot deliver at all, you get a full refund (see the Refund Policy).

5. Revisions

Each plan includes free revisions: one revision for the weekend tier, two revisions for all other tiers. A revision adjusts your existing plan based on your feedback; it is not a completely new trip. A new destination or fundamentally different trip requires a new purchase.

6. Refunds

Our Refund Policy is part of these Terms. In short: if we do not deliver your plan, or the delivered files are defective and we cannot fix them, you get a full refund. If you are not happy with the content, we will first revise the plan for free; beyond that, we decide refunds case by case in good faith.

7. For consumers in the European Union and EEA

If you are a consumer in the EU or EEA, you have a statutory 14 day right of withdrawal. Because your plan is custom-made digital content, we begin work only with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal once delivery of your personal plan has begun. You give this consent during checkout. Your statutory rights, including warranty rights for digital content, remain unaffected.

8. Accuracy of travel information

We research every plan live and cite sources with dates. Still, prices, opening hours, availability and conditions change constantly and are controlled by third parties. Always verify critical details (especially prices, opening hours and availability) directly with the provider before you book or travel. Your plan is provided for general information and inspiration; it is not professional advice, and it is no guarantee that any listed offer is still available at the listed price.

9. Your account and acceptable use

You need a valid email address to receive your plan. You agree not to misuse the service, including attempts to extract or manipulate the underlying AI systems, automated mass purchases, or entering unlawful content into the trip description. We may refuse service in cases of abuse and will refund any payment for which no plan was delivered.

10. License to your plan

Your plan is for your personal, non-commercial use. You may share it with your travel companions. You may not resell, republish or systematically redistribute plans.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service and all plans are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind beyond those expressly stated in these Terms, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that plan. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including costs of bookings you made with third parties. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. If you are a consumer, your mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, excluding its conflict of law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, you additionally enjoy the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country or state in which you reside.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms for the future, for example when we add features. The version published at the time of your purchase applies to that purchase.

15. Contact

Questions, problems, refund requests: contact@typeatrip.com. We answer fast, usually within one business day.
